SICB George A. Bartholomew Award Nominations
The Section of Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry is soliciting nominations for the George A. Bartholomew Award. This Award recognizes a distinguished young investigator (within seven years post-Ph.D.) in comparative physiology, comparative biochemistry, and related fields. The award was named in honor of George A. Bartholomew, who championed young students throughout his career. The recipient presents a special lecture at the Annual Meeting. Self-nominations are encouraged and should be accompanied by a current curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, and reprints of three recent publications. Letters of nomination should include a brief description of the nominee's research accomplishments each year to the chair:

Comité pour le prix George A. Bartholomew
La section de Physiologie et Biochimie comparées sollicite des candidatures pour le prix George A. Bartholomew. Ce prix est une reconnaissance pour un jeune chercheur (avec 7 ans ou moins d'expérience après un post-doctorat) exceptionnel en physiologie comparée, en biochimie comparée ou autres domaines reliés. Le prix a été nommé d'après George A. Bartholomew qui fut un modèle pour beaucoup de jeunes étudiants tout au long de sa carrière. Les candidats potentiels peuvent se proposer eux-mêmes en envoyant leur curriculum vitae à jour, trois lettres de recommandation et des tirés à part de trois récentes publications. Le dossier de candidature doit inclure une brève description des activités en recherche du candidat, pour chaque année et être envoyé au Président du comité :
