Parasitism, Immunity and Environment Section
Chair
In 2011 the Section embarked on a major restructuring that includes a new name- "Parasitism, Immunity and Environment" - to reflect the broader focus of the section. We aim to provide a venue for interchange among individuals interested in the interrelationships at all levels among infectious agents, the response of animals to these agents, and the environment in which these relationships exist.
The PIE Section represents an evolution of the Parasitology Section of the Canadian Society of Zoologists, which was established in 1974 to promote and advance the study of parasitic organisms and facilitate the exchange of information among parasitologists in Canada.
