MSc in Insect Pest Biology at StFX


Insect forest pests are biologically interesting and economically important.

Interested in MSc research on a forest pest? Consider applying to our labs! Study species and research questions are flexible. Possible directions include exploring range shifts associated with climate change or characterizing parasitoid communities.

Projects involve:

- Field work in the Maritimes

- Lab experiments, including potential genetic and ‘omics work

- A high-quality research experience with two supportive mentors

Stipend: $24K + tuition
