Any person interested in the study of zoology is eligible to apply for ordinary membership.

Any person who is interested in the study of zoology and is a student at a university. Membership Payment >>
Any person, within 5 years after receiving a Ph. D., who is interested in the study of zoology and is occupying a position which could normally be considered that of a post-doctoral fellow. Membership Payment >>
Any ordinary member in good standing may, upon retirement from a professional position, become an emeritus member. Membership Payment >>
A person interested in the field of zoology but who does not hold a research position in a university or a government or industrial laboratory and is not a graduate student. Upon application to the Executive Committee of Council, institutions (libraries, natural history societies) may be granted associate membership. Membership Payment >>

NRC Research Press journals are available at reduced rates to CSZ members from Canadian Science Publishing. CSZ members can purchase a yearly subscription to the Canadian Journal of Zoology for $50 (electronic access; $244 for print (plus electronic) access, plus $75 for shipping outside of Canada).

Journal of Experimental Biology:

If you wish to order the Journal of Experimental Biology, at member rates, go to the web site of the Company of Biologists http://jeb.biologists.org/. Follow their instructions for ordering as a society member. When asked for society and membership ID, indicate Canadian Society of Zoologists, and as ID use the number from the receipt you receive from the Treasurer after you pay your dues. Do not send forms or payment to the CSZ Treasurer. Deal directly with the Company of Biologists.
