Announcing a special issue in Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology

Methods in Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology - Challenges and Opportunities

This special issue aims to identify best practices for the applications of existing methodologies in comparative biochemistry and physiology, in addition to highlighting cutting-edge techniques that can be applied to comparative models to provide novel insight into organismal function. This cross-CBP issue will consider papers that cover techniques from the molecular level through to the whole animal. A specific focus will be on Commentary articles (short, expert opinion-driven reviews), although other article types including Research Papers, Reviews and Methods papers are welcomed.

We'd really like to see constructive and forward-facing pieces, involvement of early career researchers, and pieces that showcase the diversity of models and methods in our field.

We are interested in papers that fit into one (or multiple) of the traditional CBP A/B/C/D areas. At this time, we especially encouraging articles on topics that fit into B, C, or D - biochemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, pharmacology, genomics, proteomics.

 Submission deadline: Feb 29, 2024
