Description: The Mennigen (University of Ottawa) and Bruin labs (Carleton University) are looking to recruit strong, highly motivated candidates for a MSc position to work on the development, validation and use of a transgenic zebrafish line to quantify PFAS effects on pancreatic development and glucoregulatory function. Experience in zebrafish husbandry, molecular biology, biochemistry and toxicology / New Approach Methodologies are assets but not mandatorily required. The position is available as of September 2026 until filled, with an alternative starting date possibility in January 2027.
